Looking Back On June

June has been a pretty eventful month. Summer has definitely started here in the UK and I don’t think Cardiff has gone this long without rain since I moved here! I have had a few wobbles with my mental health but thanks to the great people around me I have managed to keep it in check and not let things escalate too quickly when normally it would spiral into all kinds of crazy. My friends have encouraged me to put myself first a lot more and this has definitely helped me in different parts of my life.There has been quite a few impromptu nights in the pub (the sun is such a bad influence on us all) however they are always really fun and we definitely end up learning a lot about each other (sometimes a little bit more than we probably wanted to know!). I also became a hairdresser at one point – I’m not sure that it is something I will stick to though!
