I have mentioned quite a bit on here the work that I have been doing ‘behind the scenes’ to rebuild this blog and in some ways it isn’t very visible for those reading it but it is definitely changing my outlook on my blog.

I have definitely got myself in to a rut at various points whilst writing this blog and putting the content together. This has resulted in me just posting things for the sake of it at times, I have slowly started to remove this content and try to weed out the posts that I am not happy with, would like to rework or don’t feel like they fit in with what I want to achieve with this blog.

So what is it that I want to achieve?

  1. I want to be able to post more ‘diary’ style posts about my life. This is mainly because that’s how and why I started blogging originally.
  2. I also want to be more honest about my mental health and I find it easier to do when I am blogging, mainly because it always helps with my self care because it gives me somewhere where I can really reflect on my feelings.
  3. I want to write poetry again – again because this always helps with my mental health

I know these aren’t the usual number’s orientated blogging goals that people normally post but my blog was never started for other people to read (whilst that is great!). It was started a place for me to be able to look back on and reflect on the things I had been doing, my feelings and the things that had changed. I’m  also glad that the things I have posted has helped other people along the way too.
