I like to make resolutions every year but for some reason I’m never able to achieve them. So I have put a lot more thought into my resolutions for this year in the hope that I I can achieve them all.

Reduce My Screen Time

It is well known that I am pretty much always glued to my phone scrolling through one social media or another and last month the O2 network went down which showed me how much time I actually spend on my phone. I think I need to make more of a conscious effort to be more ‘present’ when I am around people.2.

Walk 10,000 Steps A Day

Due to the change in my shifts and the fact I spend half of my time at Marysia’s house I no longer have enough time to go to the gym. Towards the end of 2018 I started to hit my step target of 6000 steps per day pretty consistently. So this year I have decided to up it to 10,000 steps a day. Realistically I know I won’t be able to hit it every day but I would like to aim to do this to ensure I stay more active.

Declutter

I definitely have a lot of ‘stuff’ and throughout the last year I have been meaning to sort through everything and get rid of things I haven’t used.. It was one of those things that was always on my to do list but I never actually did. So every month I want to make sure I go through my wardrobe, bookcase, and everything else to ensure I’m not holding on to things I don’t need/ use.

Be More Organised/ Productive

I am a very spur of the moment kind of person, who can quite happily spend all day in bed. But I feel as though I lose out on things this way. I think being more organised will help me to become more productive. Towards the end of 2018 I started to go back to writing to do lists which is something I used to do all of the time and found that I was being a lot more productive, so I am going to try and do this a lot more regularly.

Watch More Films

Last year I wanted to see more films but I didn’t really do it. So this year I am going to work out another list of films that I want to watch this year some of which will be new releases and others will be films I just haven’t seen yet. I’m thinking of setting some kind of reminder on my phone to sit down and take time out to watch a film each week.

Prioritise Self Care

By the end of 2018 I had neglected my self care and started to see myself get into a bit of a slump with my mental health. I have learnt my lesson from this and I am going to ensure I take time to prioritise my self care so that I don’t get into the same rut again.

Explore More

There are so many places I want to see/ explore that I want to make some kind of list and actually get out and about to see them.

  2. I need to do some decluttering, mostly of skincare products to be honest. Also, need to become more organised with my blog too! 🙂Sarah 🌺 || Boxnip

  3. These are great goals, reducing screen time is something I DESPERATELY want to do as well. The amount of time I’m staring at a screen is disgusting. Best of luck with it!
