I guess I’m a little bit late writing/ posting this but the end of the year got a little bit busy in work so I am taking my opportunity to write it and post it now.
Favourite Song
Without a doubt I have to say that my favourite song for Decemeber was Ladbaby’s We Built This City…. On Sausage Rolls.I love how fun it is (plus I enjoy their videos on YouTube) and I just think it is great with how doom and gloom the world is at the moment that there’s people like this to brighten your day a bit.
Favourite Food/ Snack
I have two things to include here. The first is one of my favourite guilty pleasures at this time of year and that’s chocolate coins, they always remind me of opening my stocking and finding them at the bottom. I could eat buckets of them because I just love them so much!
The other thing I wanted to include here was a cider that I tried and was surprised that I enjoyed. It was Brothers Toffee Apple English Cider. The reason why I was surprised I enjoyed it was because I don’t normally like anything that is apple flavoured however this wasn’t overly ‘appley’ and was quite sweet because of the toffee. It’s definitely one to try if you like cider.
Favourite Film/ TV Show
I am a sucker for a Christmas film and when I came across The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix one evening I decided to give it a go. I really enjoyed it and I know quite a few other people have too
Favourite Item
I treated myself to a new gadget this month to be able to write this blog a little be easier when I am ‘on the go’. So I decided to invest in the Samsung Galaxy S4 tablet. I have fallen in love with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet. I have found the desktop style feature which is activated with the keyboard to be a great addition and allows me to be more productive when writing.
Favourite Quote
You’ve probably gathered by now that I am quite a big Harry Potter fan and this quote has always stuck with me. Christmas and New Year can be particularly demanding times of year and stressful for those with mental health issues. I like to think of myself as the light in this quote as sometimes I can feel switched off and detached so sometimes I have to remember to ‘turn on the light’ and be proactive about my self care.
Favourite Photo
This is definitely my favourite photo from December and easily sums up my Christmas.
