It’s been a little while since I have written a monthly favourites post so I thought that I would bring them back and start things off with my October favourites.
I am going to start off with a film, and you may or may not be able to guess which film I am going to include here depending upon how well you know me… Toy Story 4. Did you get it right? For various reasons I didn’t manage to catch this film in the cinema so when I saw it was on the play-store I decided to get it and spent an evening cwtched up in bed watching it. I absolutely loved the story line and think that it works both as a standalone film as well as a brilliant finale to the saga.
Next up is something food related. With the weather finally feeling as though we are in Autumn I had been absolutely craving sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for a few weeks. Marysia went and bought some for pudding after our roast dinner a few weeks ago. I don’t know why but sticky toffee pudding is so much better when the weather outside is cold but you are all cosy inside watching a film.
The final thing I am going to include here is the season we are in, Autumn. I absolutely love this time of year. I love that everything is so much more cosy, the changing colours, the crisp mornings. It’s just my favourite time of year and I love the build up to Christmas and starting to wrap everything up ready for the countdown to the new year.
Next month I will have a ‘better’ favourites post with a little bit more of a selection of items that I have enjoyed this month.
