The older I get the more I realise people send Christmas cards less and less. Sending Christmas cards is one of my favourite things to do at Christmas.
I remember it first starting when I was in school my parents would buy me a pack of cards and I would sit down and write out a list of the people in my class and write cards out to every person. This continued all the way through school.
Ever since I have been an adult I still go out and buy a pack of Christmas cards to send to friends and family.
I just love the whole process of writing out a list of people that I went to send cards too, sitting in front of a film in comfy clothes. This is one of the very first things I do in the build up to Christmas, it makes me feel super festive and signifies the start of the Christmas period. I then usually wait until the end of the first week to send them/ start giving them to people to make sure they reach people in time for Christmas.
I know that it is slowly becoming more old fashioned but I love doing it and I think that I will do it every year.
