It’s October 31st in Salem, Massachusetts, and a town’s eccentric, devoted community volunteer and the good-natured object of his fellow citizen’s derision and meanest pranks, finds himself in the midst of a real investigation, for a real murderer.

Hubie Halloween was released on 7th October 2020 and is a Netflix film starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Julie Bowen and many others.

Anyone who knows me knows I am not a massive fan of horror/ thriller films (although there is one or two which I have enjoyed) when I saw the trailer for Hubie Halloween I could tell it would be right up my street. A goofy, comedy starring Adam Sandler – what more could you want! Although be warned it is a little rude too – so if that isn’t your thing you will probably want to give it a miss.

I would honestly say don’t let the negative/ poor reviews sway you from not watching this film as it really makes for an easy watch! You should go into watching this film expecting the classic Adam Sandler style of film that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Plus if you aren’t ready to let go of Halloween quite yet, what better reason to extend the celebration with a movie night.
