Rating: 4 out of 5.

All they want is someone to drunk-mock strangers with on holidays. No Pressure. No Romance. No chance it’ll lead to love.

Who doesn’t love a classic festive feel-good romantic comedy?! At 104 minutes long starring Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey and Kristin Chenoweth among others Holidate ticks all the boxes required in this mix of categories for this time of year and Netflix have successfully cracked the Christmas movie code.

If you do not like the classic cheesy Christmas film with a predictable ending, this is not the film for you and I would steer clear of this one.

However if you are ready to start your Christmas movie season off with a brand new Christmas movie that sits in the category as if it was always there. You will want to cosy up with a hot chocolate, grab some snacks and switch the Holidate on.
