My Thoughts

In all honesty I was surprised at the negative reviews I have seen on IMDb as I actually really enjoyed this Wonder Woman 1984. I hadn’t seen the trailer for the film prior to watching it so I literally had zero expectations of what to expect from Wonder Woman 1984. In some ways I think this is the best way to watch a film, especially as the best bits are usually included in the trailer for the film.

A lot of people seemed to have compared this to the other Wonder Woman film, which I haven’t seen either. I know I am SO behind on a lot of films.

I loved the 80s look of the film and the overall storyline. My favourite scene was in fact one of the very first scenes featuring Lilly Aspell who played the part of young Diana. This reminded me of the game temple run but I was also amazed that she did all of the stunts herself at the age of 12 years old. Pretty amazing! I also quite liked the fact that the villain isn’t who you would expect to be.

From the reviews I have seen regarding this film they seem to have missed the actual gist of what I took from Wonder Woman 1984. To me, the film really shows that loved ones and family are more important than anything else you could ever wish for in life

Overall I would recommend it, it is a great film, a solid storyline, with great acting – what more could you want?!
