Storyline

When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny. (IMDb)

Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins, is a fantasy action adventure film with a run time of 2 hours and 21 minutes. The film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Connie Nielsen among others.

My Thoughts

I mentioned previously that I hadn’t seen Wonder Woman before. If I was to sum it up I would say that I quite simply enjoyed it.

I personally wouldn’t say it was out of this world and the storyline was pretty standard for a superhero fil. However there was some stand out things within the film that does make it worth watching.

Firstly the cinematography is pretty spectacular is makes the film come to life. When coupled with the soundtrack it really makes the film an all round experience for the audience.

At times the acting is a little bit average however Lucy Davis who plays Etta is absolutely BRILLIANT. I loved the contribution her character made to the storyline and she plays the comedic moments fantastically! I really wish there was more of her and her character in the film.

I did like the tie in with the war and felt these scenes were portrayed really well.

Overall, Wonder Woman is a good solid film.
