Monday 15th November 2021
Today consisted of being a family day as we spent the morning helping my Uncle Ivan to move his boat. It was a bit of a challenge but between all of us we managed to get it done!
I also made a new friend! This cat was really friendly and kept following me around.
It has been nice to see Uncle Ivan, Auntie Angela and Ryan – even if it was in passing!
Tuesday 16th November 2021
I have THE WORST earache. It is that time of year when my ears get really sore and this year seems worse than normal.
Wednesday 17th November 2021
My ear still hurts and it killing my throat too – I just want to sleep it off but this earache doesn’t seem to be shifting!
Thursday 18th November 2021
I’m still not feeling 100%.
I had a meeting with the mental health team supporting me with my PTSD and had a very heavy conversation about the abuse and things.
Friday 19th November 2021
I decided last night that I was finally going to do the 5km walk I had registered for on MedalMad so that I could submit my evidence and get the medal. It is a Toy Story themed one so I am excited to get it!
It ended up being quite a nice autumnal walk and I enjoyed listening to my music and taking some photos.
This evening has been really fun and nostalgic! I had bought my Mum some tickets for us to go and see Gabrielle for her birthday. We were both quite excited about it.
My Dad dropped us off at the Corn Exchange – I remember going here when I was really little bit haven’t been back since. It definitely felt a lot smaller than I remember!
When we arrived it was already quite busy but we got inside quite quickly as there was no queue! We had a look at the merch where I bought a programme and my Mum bought us a t-shirt each.
Gabrielle was so good and engaging we both had a really good time! It was great singing along to the songs that my Mum used to play in the car.
I messaged my Dad just as the encore started so that when we left he was already pulling up outside which meant we didn’t have to wait in the cold.
Saturday 20th November 2021
Today was our designated family Christmas dinner day. This is a sort of tradition as I don’t live with my family as spend Christmas with Marysia my Mum makes a Christmas dinner during my last visit before Christmas.
It was very tasty and I was so full!
My Mum picked some crackers which had a game inside. There was some cards which had various things written on them which you had to make out of play dough in a minute, whoever guesses what it is gets the points. It became very competitive!
Sunday 21st November 2021
We had a few things to do today. I needed to nip to B&M as there was a couple of things I wanted to pick up for Christmas presents and my parents wanted to get a few things too.
Once we were done in there we went and got some breakfast – the bacon baguette I was bigger than my head!
Once we got back from the shops I had a pretty chilled day catching up on some TV.
