Weekly Diary: 6th – 12th December 2021, The Curse of the Bad Hip

Monday 6th December 2021

Today started off like most days – with a nice hot cups of tea.

There was an update released for the game Marysia plays so I spent most of the day cwtched up with Boris on the sofa and playing with him.

We also went out for a walk and got a little bit wet. I think Boris’s raincoat works a bit better than mine!

The day finished with a nice hot shower, a cups of tea and relaxing in front of the telly.

Tuesday 7th December 2021

After I had my morning cups of tea I took Boris out for a walk as it was raining but not too heavily that we would get drenched like yesterday!

After insisting that we still needed to take our family Christmas photo (I have one for every year we have been together) we put on our Christmas jumpers and set the tripod up. I also had to hunt down Boris’s matching jumper which was still up in the loft!

Other than that I hadn’t really done much with the day.

I then made us sweet and sour turkey with rice for dinner. Which is one of my favourites at the moment!

Wednesday 8th December 2021

I headed back to Cardiff this morning, it is a good job I left early as there was a bit of a faff with the trains.

I went and did a little bit of shopping that I needed to get done before spending a bit of time writing my blog.

This evening has been spent drink cups of tea and reading a bit of my book.

Thursday 9th December 2021

I was back in work today and the day seemed to drag but other than work I didn’t do a lot else.

Friday 10th December 2021

The pain in my hip and shoulder flared up last night so I ended up getting no sleep and feel like rubbish.

Saturday 11th December 2021

I am still feeling rough with my hip and shoulder and have spent most of the day trying to find ways of easing the pain a bit.

Sunday 12th December 2021

My hip and shoulder still painful. The day has been spent trying to distract myself from the throbbing pain.
