How did I do?
Overall, it wasn’t a very successful month. Unfortunately the time seemed to just disappear away from me and I wasn’t as proactive as I should have been with organising my time. I also feel as though, upon reflection, I should have put some more thought into my goals.
I did plan my blog content for the month, created a monthly budget and completed a virtual medal (the next stage to my John O’Groats to Lands End). The rest unfortunately were not completed but I have learnt a lot from it and will be changing my approach going forward.
How can I improve my success next month?
I have spent a lot of time looking into time management techniques. It is something I have always related to work and not my personal life. I think what I have learnt is going to help manage the things I need to do around the house, my studying, working as well as ensuring I get some down time too. This is something that I have struggled to get right in the past.
I have also decided I need to reduce the number of goals I set for the month. I think I was trying to focus on too many different things which led to me struggling to decided which goals to prioritise. I also think that I need to be more specific with some of the goals I set. Furthermore when deciding my goals for the month I don’t necessarily need to do something to contribute to every overall goal for the year.
