At the start of a new month, it’s a good time to reassess goals and set new ones. For this month, I have established the following objectives which are mainly focused on improving my health and fitness.

The goals I have set for November 2023 are:

1. Read 10 books.

I understand that this may be a challenging task and I might be setting my expectations too high. However, achieving this will help me get closer to my reading goal for this year. Moreover, I am putting effort into improving my evening routine by replacing my habit of scrolling through social media or watching YouTube in bed with reading books.

2. Lose 3kg

Previously I have set myself a higher goal regarding weight loss. However, this has previously been too ambitious as a result I have decided to reduce it to make it more attainable.

3. Average 10k steps per day

I was able to achieve my goal consistently at the beginning of the year, but over the past two months, my progress has slowed down. For this month, I aim to be more proactive in working towards my goal and make a conscious effort to stay active throughout the day.

4. Drink 2 litres of water per day

I drink too many fizzy drinks and not enough water. Drinking water has many benefits, which I am keen to start prioritizing.

5. Create my 2024 vision board

As the end of the year approaches, I’m starting to plan my goals for 2024. To bring my objectives to life, I find creating a vision board to be very helpful. It helps me to visualize my goals more clearly and effectively.
